I think that bea had always experimented with or been inspired by emo, midwest emo and punk rock. She has a whole playlist filled with songs by artists like Title Fight, Basement, Mineral, Midwest Pen Pals etc. Previously some songs that she'd particularly leaned into these genres on are: Pictures of Us, Worth it, Talk, Together and more... Pieces of Beatopia & Fake it Flowers. This is the first time shes fully embraced the genre sonically and visually for a full cohesive project/era. I'm in a rush this morning, maybe I'll finish this another time... Good job Bea
